Welcome to A Little Lingerie Company…Her Story! (Please Note: This Company is No Longer in Business) Those are the words that greet you upon entering this unique website that caters to the Lingerie needs of professional, working women.
A fully bilingual site, every page is available in Spanish and English (just click to switch languages). They also provide a bilingual Customer Service Desk, able to respond to both phone calls and emails in either language.
I am very pleased with the site and the response we have gotten to it so far, says A Little Lingerie Company President, Jennifer Michelle. People find it to be a very warm, user-friendly site, and they really see how unique the styles we offer are. Since we are geared towards the needs of real women who go to work every day, our lingerie is selected to be lovely, but appropriate for under a suit or a sweater set. Visitors will also find a Special Section Just for the Bride to Be and her Wedding Party featuring Beautiful Wedding Day Garters & Honeymoon Lingerie.
A Little Lingerie Company caters their Lingerie to the Working Women & College Students plus Stay at Home Moms, that cover the range from petite to plus size. An extensive amount of work was also invested in making sure good fitting information is provided on the site. If a cup size runs large or a band size runs small, stresses Ms. Michelle, we let you know. The website also contains a Bra Fitting Guide and a Search by Size feature, and customers receive a discount whenever they buy a matching set.
We strive to provide very personalized service. For instance, we do bra fittings over the phone, for women all over the country. We make a point of letting women know how bra manufacturers size bras and how to know when the fit is right. Bra fittings are offered free of charge.
The site also offers Lingerie Gift-o-Grams, which feature specialty products made in Vermont for that Perfect Romantic Night with Ideas for Making Lasting Memories. As a Vermont-based company, we like to partner with other local businesses. A former health specialist, Jennifer Michelle, decided to open the online lingerie boutique while traveling in Morocco.
Since my career was in international health programs, the sudden desire at age 37 to switch to retail came as a bit of a surprise, she says, (But) when I found myself telling strangers on a train, All I really want to do is sell lingerie, I knew I was in for a big change.”
